The Berkey PF-2™ Fluoride and Arsenic Reduction Elements absorb the following unwanted elements found in drinking water:
- Fluoride: Sodium Fluoride, Sodium Fluorosilicate, Fluorosilicic Acid (aka Hydrofluorosilic Acid)
- Arsenic: V and pre-oxidized Arsenic III
- Other residual heavy metal ions
- Expect 95% reduction of Fluoride over the life of the filters. Maximum 1000 US gallon life (3800 litres)
The PF-2 fluoride filter elements contains high-grade inert, activated alumina (Al2O3), which currently is the most efficient media available for extracting fluoride from water. (Made in USA)
