FAQ- When will the Black Berkey Water Filter be available.
NMCL is excited to announce the release of our new economical replacement filters for use in Berkey® water systems. These new filters are being offered in lieu of Black Berkey® Elements not being available.
Black Berkey® replacement filter sets (BB9-2®) have not been available since late in 2023 due to the stop order placed on Berkey International by the EPA, which prevented the further manufacture of Black Berkey® Elements.
We are still engaged in the lawsuit against the EPA (which is currently active in the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit).
