Berkey is pleased to Introduce the Phoenix New Millennium Edition™ Water Filter Elements.
Phoenix Gravity New Millennium Edition™ Filter Elements are manufactured for New Millennium Concepts, Ltd., as replacement filters in lieu of Black Berkey® Elements for use in Berkey® gravity-fed water filter systems and other brands of gravity-fed water filter systems.
Made from CTC-60 coconut shell carbon, each pair can filter up to 5,500 gallons of water, removing up to 99.9% of contaminants and transforming water from most sources into clean, safe drinking water. To maintain peak performance, myberkeywaterusa.com recommends replacement every 12 months.
- Certified by NSF International for NSF/ANSI Standards 42 and 372.
- Filters are fully compatible for use with Berkey PF-2® Fluoride and Arsenic Reduction Elements.
- Includes: two Phoenix Gravity New Millennium Edition™ Filter Elements with two washers, two wing nuts, PrimeEasy™ Universal Primer and plastic squeeze bottle for easy priming, two vials of red food coloring and product instruction sheet.
- Filter base is made from a super durable glass-filled polymer which is BPA free and NSF/FDA food contact compliant.
- Each element measures approximately 9-1/2" x 2-1/2" overall, including stem.
With a Micron rating of 1, this media formulation includes premium CTC 60 coconut shell carbon which was activated in a controlled environment using high temperatures to develop millions of micropores.
This process exponentially increases its surface area and absorption capabilities to enable the media to effectively absorb and trap a vast range of waterborne contaminants and impurities. The media mixture is then molded and sintered with precise compression
and heat to fuse the media particles together into a dense, yet super
porous filter for effective contaminant reduction with impressive water flow
capabilities.
The Phoenix Gravity New Millennium Edition™ Filters are not the same as Phoenix Gravity's Carbon Filter Elements found elsewhere on the internet. The Phoenix Gravity New Millennium Edition™ filters have been tested to show successful reduction of over 100 additional contaminants that the Phoenix Gravity Carbon Filter does not claim. Please note the difference of the product name, specifically "New Millennium Edition". This filter version has been manufactured specifically for New Millennium Concepts, Ltd as an exclusive filter to be sold to Berkey's Authorized Dealers
PHOENIX NEW MILLENNIUM EDITION FILTER ELEMENTS REMOVE:
Phoenix Gravity New Millennium Edition™ filter elements are NSF/ANSI 42 and NSF/ANSI/CAN 372 certified, and have been tested by third-party, accredited labs to remove or reduce a broad array of typical waterborne contaminants found in North America and global municipal water supplies, including:
(Desktop users may need to use the horizontal arrow keys)
Counterfeit and look alike New Millennium Edition™ Phoenix Gravity water filters are plentiful on Amazon and other online platforms. Our Phoenix gravity filters originate from New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. (Berkey by NMCL) of Arlington Texas, manufacturer of the original Black Berkey water filter.
